Worthy Causes that PEKD Advocacy Supports

  • Barry Kulick Memorial Hardship Fund
Barry Kulick played hockey at Lakeland Arena since his early youth. He continued to play hockey into his adult life both at rinks and on the pond, as he loved the game. Barry’s work as a Pontiac Police Officer demonstrated the value he placed on helping those around him. This Fund works to combine these two passions in his memory.
  • Yuma Child Burn Survivors Campaign 2010
  • Camp Courage:

  • UCP-Michigan
A non-profit advocacy organization that works for life without limits for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Patti's comments: I am on the board of this fine organization.
  • United Cerebral Palsy Releases 2010 Case For Inclusion
The 2010 Case for Inclusion report (medicaid.ucp.org), ranks all 50 states and the District of Columbia (DC) for Medicaid services provided to intellectual and developmental disability (ID/DD) populations.
  • UCP Support for People with Disabilities in Haiti
