  • Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMS.gov – 11/9/10)
    CMS Introduces New Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Initiatives to better coordinate health care. Created by the Affordable Care Act, the Innovation Center will examine new ways of delivering health care and paying health care providers that can save money for Medicare and Medicaid while improving the quality of care. CMS also announced the launch of new demonstration projects that will support efforts to better coordinate care and improve health outcomes for patients.

  • Medicaid Coalition
    The Coalition has an informal membership of over 400 organizations with a shared commitment to ensure that all Americans have equal access to high quality, affordable health care.
  • National Association Medicaid Directors
    A bipartisan, professional, nonprofit organization of representatives of state Medicaid agencies. The primary purposes of NASMD are: to serve as a focal point of communication between the states and the federal government, and to provide an information network among the states on issues pertinent to the Medicaid program. Provides an interactive map that will connect you to the site of your state's Medicaid office.
  • Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)
    PACE is an optional benefit under both Medicare and Medicaid that focuses entirely on older people, who are frail enough to meet their State's standards for nursing home care. It features comprehensive medical and social services that can be provided at an adult day health center, home, and/or inpatient facilities. For most patients, the comprehensive service package permits them to continue living at home while receiving services, rather than be institutionalized.
